National Poetry Day

This week from Reception – Year 6 the children have been looking at different poems in aid of National Poetry Day. They were asked as a class to learn a poem, remember it and perform it in assembly. We had a wide range of poems, from rapping grannies to walking with iguanas and everything in between. The children had such fun learning their poems and successfully performing them to friends and family in assembly this morning.
