8:40am – Doors open for staggered entry. All classes have a range of morning activities happening as children arrive at school

The main school doors are open at 8:40 where there is always a member of staff on the top and bottom gate.  Foundation Stage children and Year 4 go into school through the playground entrance.

Year 2, 3 and 5 go through the front doors closest to their classrooms.

Year 6 go through the side door closest to their classroom.

Phonics and spelling groups happen across school at this early time so being in school on time is really important.

Classes from Year 1 to Year 6 all enjoy a 15 minute playtime outdoors. With our extensive facilities, all children have the opportunity to play and meet with friends either on the adventure playground or main school playground. Weather permitting children will also be encouraged to use the school field.

11:30 – Lunch starts – all classes have an hour

Nursery, Reception and Year 1 go for their lunch at 11:30am,.

KS1 and KS2 lunch starts at 12:00pm where most classes go out onto the playground and are then called in by the Midday Supervisors for their lunch.

12:30pm – 1:00pm – Afternoon session begins

Children have different lessons including Science, French, Geography, Art, D.T, PE, Computing, R.E and PSHE.

3:00pm – Home time routine begins

All children go to their home time waiting place, directed by the staff.

Children are collected from the door they entered school through. If children are going home on the bus, or attending an After School Club they all meet in the hall and are supervised by staff.

3:15 – 4:15pm The first session of After School Club

We have a wide range of clubs available for children to attend throughout the week. The children are all dismissed though the main door at the front of school and taken to the front of school where parents are to collect.

4:15 – 5:30pm The second session of After School Club

This second session is for working parents who need extra child care provision. Children at this club get a snack and a drink while taking part in mindfulness activities including drawing, colouring, playing board games and listening to music.
