What makes a ‘good day’ at Yanwath? It starts in the morning when all the children come in really excited about the new day and normally, they have lots to tell me about the things they have been doing at their clubs the night before. Then as the day goes on, the children always amaze me with their great ideas and I really enjoy helping those who need a little bit of help achieve their goal for the lesson. By the end of the day, we all feel proud of our days’ work and a little tired too! Then it’s off to after school club, we have so many different clubs, I really enjoy hearing the children’s voices in school as they laugh and chat whilst at sketch club!
What is the best thing about being a teacher? Working with so many different children, everyone is unique it makes every day different!
If you could pass any wisdom on to your students, what would you share? Never give up, you’ll be surprised at just how much you can achieve!
